Henry O. Forrest, APSA, PPSA, NJFC passed away August 20, 2010 after eight years of disability at age 86. Henry was a charter member, who was quite active in the Teaneck Camera Club for decades. He chaired the Teaneck International with five divisions until his wife took over for only two of them. Henry being a charter member of Box 54, auxiliary to the fire department, was able to avail himself of many fire pictures. He was also a superb model photographer. Henry, naturally, had an exemplary record in PSA’s Photojournalism Division due to the multiple fire related PICS as well as galaxy rating in Color Slides.

Henry owned and operated the Teaneck Camera Shop for over fifty years where he readily answered questions along with providing excellent customer service. This is where his wife, Marjorie, of 26 years met him.

Henry Forrest achieved Associate of the Photographic of America as well as Proficiency in that illustrious organization. He was awarded the New Jersey Federation Citation in 1984. Henry was likeable and personable. He will be missed.
