The Sunday, 2/10 field trip to the Intrepid is cancelled, due to repairs on the exhibit not as yet being finished. We will reschedule as soon as we know the museum is reopened.
In its place we will be going to The American Museum of Natural History in NYC.
We will meet at the Rodda Center on Sunday, 2/10 at 9 AM to organize the car pools. The museum has an underground parking facility at 81st Street and Central Park West.
Below is the Admission Pricing Policy for the Museum. The posted Admission price for the Museum is only a suggested price. You may pay less if you are not able to afford the asking price. Here is their note from the web site:
General Admission
Adults: $19 Children (2-12): $10.50 Seniors/Students with ID: $14.50 Adult Members: Free Child Members: Free Suggested General Admission, which supports the Museum’s scientific and educational endeavors, includes admission to all 45 Museum halls and the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Should you wish to pay less than the suggested admission, you may do so by purchasing tickets at any admissions desk at the Museum.
